Adam (1916) and Bernice (1914) Stuart on left are children of Clarke and Nettie Stuart. Picture taken about 1928. Adam is my dad. Bernice is my aunt. They lived on a farm in Neshoba County, Mississippi just north of Philadelphia on county road 571. Adam died in 1961 and Bernice died in 1973. Other two children are unknown at this time. I spent time visiting the farm in the 1950s and 1960s. I remember an old horse drawn wagon, playing in the barn, playing in the fields, the clay country roads, picking vegetables, eating watermelon in the fields, and fishing in the pond. And of course, hand pumping water from the well before dad installed the pumps. The time was spent on the farm with my brother Randolph (died 1954) and my four 1st cousins (Bernice children). That Life was like yesterday in my mind.
Sad to say, I am the last surviving member of that generation for both my dad's and mother's side of the family. Don Stuart
